Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Naseer Sheikh, an amateur filmmaker from the city of Malegaon. The city dwellers seek a much-needed escape from their daily grind in Bollywood cinema. Nasir was inspired to make a film about the people of Malegaon by the people of Malegaon. He gathers a group of friends to bring his vision to life and breathe new life into the city. The film is a poignant yet inspiring look at both filmmaking and friendship and what happens when these two worlds collide.
